“ 10/10 Indian food!!!!! We ordered for take out on a Sunday night & it was ready so quick. We tried a bunch of menu items and they were all soooo good. My favorite was the veggie samosas, saag paneer (basically cheese & spinach), and the garlic naan. Everything was super flavorful & the portions were HUGE. I had left overs for days, so you can definitely share 1 entree with one or two people. We also got the chicken tikka masala and bengan bhartha (eggplant with onions, tomatoes & peas) which we all loved too!! I don't think you can go wrong ordering off their menu. I highly recommend!!!! ”
“ Nishant is a wonderful chef who has catered to my vegan dietary needs. He has also experimented with new and unique recipes. He's great. Mark, Palatine ”
“ My sister and I had the ENTIRE place to ourselves on a Saturday night at 8pm. The weirdest thing ever, but our food was delivered to us EXTREMELY fast and our server was amazing. This was my first time having Indian food and the Biryani was spectacular. Great location, atmosphere, and employees. Had friendly interactions with every single employee! ”
“ My go-to for Indian food in Chicago! We've tried a lot of places, but we continually come back to Gaylord for their friendly smiles, service, delicious food, healthy portions, and fair prices. They're great for takeout or dining in! We recently dined in for the first time, and it was so much fun that we couldn't believe we had not done it before. I've always loved their garlic naan, but it's 5x better in the restaurant! I love Gaylord, and I cannot wait to go back/order takeout soon! ”
“ I love Gaylord. I have ordered takeout from Gaylord for about 5 years! They are my favorite Indian restaurant in the city. Today I decided to dine in for the first time ever. The host and the staff were lovely and had excellent service. Rajan was excellent! I just love their chicken tikka masala, but the Keema samosas are also to die for. Other great dishes Chicken Gaylord Lamb saag Pepper chicken Highly recommend ”
“ We had food delivered from Gaylord for my brother-in-law's birthday dinner. I'm sure many of the dishes would have tasted even better in person, but everything was good. Everyone was happy with the food! Gobhi Manchurian- This was amazing. My father-in-law and I both loved this dish. I don't know if anyone else got any. We will for sure order again, just to get this dish. The sauce was so good. Next time we'll get this, and see what else they have with Manchurian sauce as well. Saag Paneer- Good. Solid standard dish. Aloo Bengan- Fine. Next time I'd probably skip this dish. Vegetarian Hor D'oeuvres- Good. Would have been much better in the restaurant. Bombay Aloo-Good. Would probably be even better in person. But this was tasty. Chicken Tikka- Looked good, the meat eaters were happy with it. ”
“ I wasn't really sure what to expect with this place based on the other reviews but ended up pleasantly surprised. They have a full bar and the drinks were strong but tasty. We started with the vegetarian samosas and liked them a lot. My husband and I both ordered tandoori dishes and they were overall good but some pieces were a little dry. I heard thAt the vegetarian dishes at the other end of the table were tasty but I didn't try them. I did try the chicken tiki masala and the chicken saag however. The chicken saag as good but I wasn't impressed by the tiki masala personally. We had a big party and they were able to accommodate us all with short notice and the service was friendly and pretty fast. As we were getting ready to go everyone seemed to agree that we should come back in the future. ”
